From potential to challenges: will generative AI really transform our work?

In her first blog, Martina Negrato, CAREL’s intern from the Lean & Process Innovation Department, discusses the potential and challenges of using generative AI in the workplace. 

Generative AI is estimated to significantly enhance employee productivity by enabling them to work smarter rather than harder. It helps automate tasks that currently occupy up to 60% of their time and supports creativity in areas like idea generation. AI can handle activities such as customer interactions, summarising and drafting emails, generating code, interpreting data, plotting graphs, and reading documents.
